Student Accountability in Advising

As advisors, we have the ability to cultivate a culture of student accountability in our advising practices to empower students to engage in responsible decision-making about their academic and professional goals. This training aims to cover the importance of student accountability in advising, guidance on how to incorporate accountability messaging, and encouraging student utilization of advising and student support resources.
As a result of attending this presentation, participants will be able to:
- Articulate the importance of student accountability in academic advising
- Create and disseminate communication with students regarding accountability expectations in academic advising
- Identify strategies to promote advising accountability in advising appointments
